More correctly, we should say "Trainz Classics 3rd Edition". This UK themed route today has a long and impressive history in the world of Trainz. The "Skipton to Carlisle" version featured a huge range of UK themed rolling stock and a significant number of scripted changes to steam locomotives and signalling systems.

This route was then extedned to become Settle to Carlisle for 2009 and then recently released as a DLC version of Trainz A New Era. 

The content creators also maintained regular news updates through their http://www.trainzclassics.co.uk/ website.

This includes a number of further guides to help with various aspects of TC3:

• A guide to train services and locomotives on the S&C during the 1960s.
• An overview of the route from Skipton to Carlisle.
• A guide which covers driving the 9F locomotive on the 'Class C goods' session.
