We've had a lot of people chipping in to create many MANY additional Version 6 SpeedTrees that work within TANE so a big thanks must go out to Rob, RoysTrainz, RMM, OlegKhim and many more who have helped make Trainz a little greener!
For those wanting to get their hands on the new tree arrivals, they are all available free via the DLS.
The best way to find all the latest SpeedTrees to use in TANE is to:
Load the launcher and click on "Manage Content".
Once in the "TrainzContent" window, filter on "Custom"
Change "Asset KUID" to "Minimum build version" and enter "3.8".
Finally, change "Installed" to False so it checks the DLS.
Download them all!
You will find many V6 SpeedTrees under the names "Tree" or "st_rmm" or "Roys_" just to name a few.
Farewell "Boobless_Ed"
We are sorry to report the passing of James MacIntyre, known by many here as Boobless_Ed. Many will know of his fantastic set of gum trees that were extensively used by the Australian community over the last ~10 years, as well as his cliff spline set and NSW based track and tunnel set. Some may also remember the fantastic DD17 tank locomotive that he created many years ago.
Farewell Jim. My you rest in peace in that big rail yard in the sky!
